"WORLD OF SAND"

Medano Creek, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado

One of the most unique aspects of Great Sand Dunes National Park is the fact that it has a creek flowing right through it. It's very rare to find water, especially freshwater, on sand sunes. On this day, the creek was flowing more than I'd ever seen, allowing for brilliant reflections. In the distance is Mount Herard, dominating the landscape as always.
